Ministerial advisor
Lindsay served the provincial Minister of Community Services, Women and Senior Services and the federal Minister of International Trade as an Executive Assistant. During her time in these roles she conducted daily issues scans and briefed the Minister in preparation for media or question period. She reviewed policy research and advised the Minister on proposed action.
Lindsay was responsible for proposing, planning and implementing Ministers public announcements, events and travel. During her time with the federal Minister of International Trade, Lindsay organized a series of policy roundtables for stakeholders from the business, academic and non-profit sectors.

Working in a high stress, high profile, multi-stakeholder environment sharpened Lindsay’s organizational and issues management skills. The use of good judgment at all times was paramount.

Ministerial advisor
I was fortunate to serve as Executive Assistant to the provincial Minister of Community Services, Women and Senior Services and the federal Minister of International Trade. During my time in these roles I conducted daily issues scans and briefed the minister in preparation for media interviews and question period. I reviewed policy research and advised the minister on proposed action. I gained considerable logistics and event planning experience as I was responsible for proposing, planning and implementing the ministers public announcements, events and travel.
During my time with the federal Minister of International Trade, I organized a series of policy roundtables for stakeholders from the business, academic and non-profit sectors.
